How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?

Motivation for me comes from just trying to be a better person every single day. It's just getting up and putting in the work everyday no matter if I am motivated to train or not so I can trust that when the pressure is on, I know I can dig deep and push through no matter what. That keeps me motivated and striving to be better.

Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?

Just spending time with my family and Olly helps to keep me relaxed and grounded, I am already activated enough so for me its about staying relaxed for as long as possible until I get to the beach and start warming up and then I am ready.

Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?

I have had some incredibly special moments in my career so far and some very memorable team races and Australian Teams that will always hold a special place in my heart, but my recent Shannon Eckstein Classic win felt like a breakthrough and extremely monumental. It was a race that I always wanted to win as Shannon is the person that I looked up to as a young girl and taught me so much about racing. I will forever be grateful that it all came together for me on that day.

Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?

My debut Nutri-Grain Ironwoman Sreies. It was always my dream to be a Nutri-Grain Ironwoman and it took me a long time and many failures to finally secure my spot. So getting there it was scary and I didn't know whether I was deserving or good enough to race these girls, but I ended up finishing 5th overall in my first year and that was a significant moment that proved to me that I am deserving and good enough to be there and gave me the confidence that I needed to believe I could actually win iron races one day.

Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?

I love my job of dental assisting. I love travelling, surfing, and eating at yummy restaurants with my friends and family. And I am obsessed with dogs hehe

How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?

It can be difficult to switch out of training and race mode and into everyday life but working as a Dental Assistant helps give me that balance as it keeps me busy and helps to keep my mind off elite sport. I love to go away to Bali and go surfing with my family, that keeps me fit and healthy but allows me to have quality time with my family and gives me that mental break from training and the grind that can sometimes feel never ending.

What are your top 3 ENGINE products (either for racing or training)?

Love literally every colour of the Santorini One Piece, I have about 50 pairs of the Royale Goggles I'm not even exaggerating, and lastly I can't live without my Backpack Pro.
