How do you stay motivated and push yourself in training?
Focussing on my goals plus I am super competitive.Many athletes have pre-game rituals that help them get into the zone. What are some of your personal pre-game rituals or routines that you believe help you get in the zone before hitting the beach or pool?
Event: set mini goals in the lead up to the event. Don’t muck around and ALWAYS train hard. Roll and stretch every morning.Race: good warm up. Talk to my coach about my race plan. Relax, focus and visualise. Debrief with my coach after the race.
Reflecting on your career so far, what would you consider as the most memorable or defining moment?
SA Short Course Championship swimmer of the meet including breaking 5 South Australian & all-comers records.
Are there any specific achievements or milestones that you are particularly proud of and that you feel have significantly impacted your journey as an athlete?
Breaking 7 SA state records in the last 12 months
Gold, Silver & Bronze medals at this years Australian School Sport Championships and
Silver & 2 Bronze at last years Australian School Sport Championships.
Beyond your athletic pursuits, do you have any hobbies or passions that might surprise people?
Gaming enthusiast.

A lot of pre-planning and discipline.
Training sessions and competitions mapped out in advance.
Making sure I’m well rested, fuelled up and hydrated to perform at training/ competitions and ensure homework’s done. But also allowing time for personal interests and downtime.
How do you balance your intense training and competition schedule with personal interests outside of your sport?
Wingskin Bullet and Explode Jammer for racing and Poly jammer for training.
